IG AutoFollow ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that automates Instagram account management actions such as following, unfollowing, and liking posts.

Information We Collect

The Extension collects and stores the following data locally on your device:

• Your Instagram user ID (numeric, read from browser cookies) — used to track your daily action counts and trial usage.
• A randomly generated device identifier — used to associate your trial/subscription status with your device.
• Action counts (follows, unfollows, likes performed today and in total) — stored locally in Chrome storage.

We do not collect your Instagram password, personal messages, email address, or any personally identifiable information without your explicit consent.

Data Sent to Our Servers

Your Instagram user ID and device identifier are sent to our backend server (hosted on Cloudflare Workers) solely to:

• Track your free trial usage (7 free sessions).
• Verify your PRO subscription status.

This data is stored securely in Cloudflare KV and is never sold or shared with third parties.

Subscription & Payments

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com). We receive your email address upon purchase to issue your license key. We do not store your payment card details.

Permissions Used

• storage — to save your settings and action counts locally.
• tabs / activeTab — to detect when you are on Instagram.
• identity — to optionally identify your Chrome profile for trial tracking.
• host_permissions (instagram.com) — to perform automated actions on Instagram pages.

Data Retention

Local data is stored until you uninstall the Extension or clear Chrome storage. Server-side data (trial/subscription status) is retained for the duration of your subscription and up to 90 days after cancellation.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your server-side data at any time by contacting us. Local data can be cleared via Chrome's extension storage settings.
